NEW! Burnt Cedar ... Yakisugi
- Burn it and make it last.
Today’s latest trend in custom wood finishing is an ancient Japanese art, Shou Sugi Ban, also called Yakisugi. Cedar wood is charred to give it a beautiful and long lasting charcoal black finish while still showcasing the grains.
The burning process seals the wood making it weatherproof and bug, rot, and fire resistant for up to 80 years. The cost savings are huge as there is no refinishing, no repainting, and any necessary repairs are quick and easy.
